VIO POV 1

The POV.1 is a completely new camera system suitable for mounting on the helmet or installation in a vehicle. The POV.1 has proven itself already in America, and is currently being used by various police departments and the Military. The POV.1 is fabricated according to military Spec standards and is fully waterproof up to 1 meter. One touch recording, so no time-consuming menu to run through before the recordings will start. The system can also be operated via an RF remote control with a range of 1.5 meters. Recordings are stored on a (max 8 GB) SD memory card in MPEG-4 DivX format (360 minutes of film). DVD quality recordings that can easily be copied to a computer and archived if desired. POV.1 has an actual date / time indication running along with the recordings. One can also adjust the white balance now, which makes it possible to generate high quality images under various conditions. Battery capacity of the system is + - 8 hours using Duracell or rechargeable Eneloop batteries (4X AA). At present the system is being used very successfully by several police departments in the Netherlands.
