Significantly warmer and more protective than a fleece layer, this insulated jacket is breathable enough to be used as a super-warm midlayer under a heavy shell jacket on frigid days, but contains enough insulation to  be worn on its own while static. The cut is roomy enough to accommodate light armour underneath, yet is compressible enough to stow in its own hand pocket.
